Sri Sathya Sai Vedic Society, Singapore (SSSVSS) was formed as an informal group conducting monthly Ekadasa Rudram (chanting of Sri Rudram 11 times by 11 persons) to celebrate the Nakshtra Arudhra, the star in which Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba Sri Sai was born to.

Vedas gives practical solutions to attain liberation and attain Godhead. Bhagawan Baba emphasizes that we are God and true happiness will lead us to the path of liberation.

As the numbers grew, we became formal under the Registrar of Societies in 2013. We are registered with Sri Sathya Sai Global Council, Prasanthi Nilayam.

Besides Ekadasa Rudram, we organise Guru Purnima, Ganesh Chaturthi, Gayathri Maha Yagna (GMY), Nagarasankirtan, and celebrate Bhagawan Baba’s birthday as per the Vedic calendar every year.

As part of our drive to spread Vedic awareness amongst all regardless of caste, creed, colour and gender, we conduct classes on Vedas.
